Rational Data Network is a new kind of network built on new technology that brings a variety of technologies together in one place. This technology provides a structured foundation for what Marshall McLuhan defined as a global village. The idea here is that the traditional geographical, socio-economic, political, cultural and language barriers that are preventative to the formation of a global community are transcended by technology and a new kind of global village can emerge.
While we have seen this with the Internet today - it's also true that up till now there has been a potpourri of mechanisms that have allowed this to emerge often in disjointed ways. For example while we have property law for virtual real estate in game spaces, and communications on search engine sites, and apps spread around in various different places, it's pretty much a hop scotch around the web kind of proposition to find solutions to all of these in one place. Furthermore information is often not easy to apprehend, and in the case of web pages they are often not qualified by even a date when it was published, let alone its veracity in terms of the information presented. The Rational Data computing platform and network model is designed to bring together a number of different pieces, to solve some of these issues toward the end of providing for existential rights for a global population. With the goal of providing a framework for global stakeholders to in a democratic fashion voice opinions on global and local issues, and at the same time to empower people worldwide by providing mechanisms for peaceful non-violent action to help solve problems.
From a technology standpoint, Rational Data International provides a new kind of computing platform (rational data) and a network model (rational data network) while setting new standards, frameworks, platform models, and network within network models along with web 3.0 technology as a foundation for the 'Virtual Global Nation idea'.
From a conceptual viewpoint the Virtual Global Nation, starts out with a governance model that consists of a EULA (end user license agreement), a Constitution and Definition of Rights Document. This provides for definition of existential rights, digital property law or virtual real estate law and the commissioning of in network institutions.
The platform and network model developed by Rational Data International can be thought of in some respects like a vehicle (platform) and the road a vehicle travels on (network).
As with any country, there is usually a defined geographical region and within that property, that is often allocated and distributed to individuals by a system of property law. Often this system becomes the foundation for aggregation of wealth and the development of economic activity. The network provides a new kind of digital property or online real estate that makes this possible.
